AcedPoker

Launching in late 2008, Aced Poker has been a driving force in the poker industry. They have found a way to attract new players whether it’s from signing exclusive poker pro Jamie Gold, revolutionizing the way players get comped, or by simply offering excellent customer service. Offering as many games if not more than their competitors, there is absolutely no reason why you should not already be at Aced trying to earn their lucrative deposit bonus or trying to take out Jamie Gold, who has a $500 bounty on his head. Do yourself a favor and sign up at Aced.

Games

They are a new poker room so traffic is still minimal. Although they have all variations of Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha, Stud, Razz, and Mixed, most of your traffic is in the No Limit games and tournaments. You can buy into these ring games for as low as .02/.04 and will typically find stakes no higher than $50/$100. There is an abundance of free-roll tournaments that happen every 4 hours and you will find tournaments as low as a couple dollars and in cases as high as $00+. If poker doesn’t do it for you, then go over and play one of their casino games. They currently have Blackjack, Backgammon, Caribbean Stud, Roulette, Euchre, and Video Poker.

Software

One of the best parts of being on the merge network is probably the software and how it looks. Now obviously, the game play is more important but who wants to play on an ugly poker table? All the colors in their rooms are rich and vibrant and really standout. Another key feature is how you interact with other players. Type in "tilt" to see a puff of smoke come up on your screen. It can definitely lighten the mood. The navigation is easy, volume works, and you can easily customize your game the way you need it either by changing color decks or even adding a flag next to your name.

Players

The only negative thing to say about Aced is that there still is a lack of traffic to their site. They happen to have on average 3,500 players at any given time and you will find them mostly on No-Limit tables in one form or another. So if you’re a 7 card Stud fan you will be waiting in a short line for a very small game. Aside from that, they are growing everyday and I wouldn’t expect this to last long. Since there isn’t a large quantity of players it would be safe to say that you will find easier competition here versus other sites.

Bonuses

Currently Ace’s deposit bonus is a 100% match up to $500. To release this bonus, you will need to earn 250 comp points which in return will give you $1 of your bonus money. Other than deposit bonuses, a great feature is the “Outs” system which rewards players with completing specific tasks on a punch list. For example, if you were to win 2 Sit N Go’s in a row, you would receive so many comp points or if you happen to win 3 hands in a row you would get so many comp points. This should be an industry standard as this is a great incentive to keep playing.
